Meals. Made. Manageable. is operated by MC2 Projects Ltd. in Alberta, Canada. This policy explains the information we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
We collect information needed to provide shared meal planning and grocery-list features, including:
- account details such as your email address and display name;
- household membership and household settings;
- meal plans, recipes, ingredients, grocery lists, and recipe source links that you add;
- invitation, account-security, and support-request records; and
- limited technical and service information needed to operate, secure, diagnose, and improve the service.
How we use information
We use this information to operate your account, synchronize information with people in your household, provide requested features, prevent misuse, respond to support requests, and maintain the security and reliability of the service.
Households and community features
Information you add to a household is available to the other members of that household. If you choose to use community or Discover features, the recipe and interaction information associated with those features may be shared as described in the feature at the time you use it. Do not add information you do not want shared with your household or the community audience you select.
Service providers and links
We use service providers to host the app, store account and household data, and deliver household invitations. These providers process information only to provide services for us. Recipe links and imported recipe URLs may lead to third-party sites; their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Browser storage and analytics
We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember app preferences, support offline shopping, and retry queued actions. We may use limited product and community activity information to understand and improve the service. We do not use browser storage for third-party advertising.
Retention and security
We retain personal information while your account is active and afterward only as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain security records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements. We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can ask to access, correct, export, or delete your account information, and you can ask about deletion of shared household information. Household deletion can affect other members, so we will confirm the requested scope before acting.
Children and changes to this policy
The service is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us using the address above. We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change; the effective date will be updated when we do.
