Terms of Service

Using the service

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and use the service only in compliance with applicable law.

Your household and content

You are responsible for the people you invite to your household and for content you add. Household members can view and edit the plans, recipes, ingredients, and grocery lists shared with that household. You must have the rights needed to add any content, recipe link, or other material you provide.

Community and Discover

Community features may let you view, save, report, or otherwise interact with shared recipe content. Do not post unlawful, harmful, misleading, infringing, or personal information that you do not have permission to share. We may remove or limit access to content or accounts that violate these Terms or threaten the service or its users.

Recipe imports and third-party services

Recipe imports and links may use third-party websites. We do not control those sites or guarantee their availability, accuracy, or content. You are responsible for deciding whether to use a link or imported recipe.

Acceptable use

You must not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, bypass security controls, use automated activity that harms availability, or use the service to violate another person's rights. You must not share invitation codes or account access in a way that defeats household access controls.

Availability and changes

We may update, maintain, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. The service is provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, MC2 Projects Ltd. does not make warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, MC2 Projects Ltd. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or our legal obligations. Privacy and deletion requests are described in the Privacy Policy.

Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Courts located in Alberta have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
